Leading the Way in Safeguarding for the Creative Industries

At AOTC, we provide one of the first safeguarding training programmes designed specifically for film, television, and creative professionals. With our expert guidance, your team will gain the tools to recognise, address, and prevent safeguarding issues, ensuring a safe environment for everyone involved in your projects.

Who Is This Training For?

Why Is Safeguarding Training Critical?

Benefits of Safeguarding Training

Our safeguarding training is essential for anyone working in the creative industries, including:

  • Production Teams: Equip cast and crew with the knowledge to uphold best practices on set.

  • Agents and Management Teams: Understand safeguarding responsibilities when working closely with vulnerable clients.

  • Casting Directors: Learn how to ensure safe and ethical practices during auditions and casting.

  • Studio and Post-Production Teams: Build a culture of safety behind the scenes.

  • Freelancers and Creatives: Gain confidence in identifying and addressing safeguarding concerns in collaborative environments.

The creative industries are unique environments that often involve working with vulnerable individuals, such as young talent, street-cast performers, or those with lived experiences. Safeguarding training ensures your team can:

  • Identify Risks: Recognise safeguarding concerns early to prevent harm.

  • Take Appropriate Action: Respond effectively to safeguarding issues in line with legal and ethical standards.

  • Promote a Safe Culture: Create an environment where everyone feels valued and protected.

  • Comply with Regulations: Meet legal requirements and industry standards for safeguarding practices.

  • Protect Talent and Staff: Ensure the safety and wellbeing of everyone involved in your projects.

  • Build Trust: Demonstrate your commitment to creating a safe and supportive environment.

  • Enhance Reputation: Lead the way in adopting safeguarding best practices within the industry.
